UX & Usability
Research, information architecture, flows, and usability testing to decide with evidence and reduce friction.
UX/UI Designer with a Senior level in UI, a solid UX foundation, and a product mindset — from discovery to delivery. I design clear interfaces and scalable systems for banking and fintech products.
Before designing, I work the problem first: KPIs, business context, and technical feasibility. I collaborate with product and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum, with the technical judgment (HTML/CSS) to propose buildable solutions, and I use AI intentionally — including prompt engineering — to research, make better decisions, and move faster.

A selection of projects where I applied UX and interface design — research, flows, systems, and product decisions — to digital products in banking, fintech, and e-commerce, caring for experience, usability, and system consistency.
I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and came to design through illustration. I've been a professional graphic designer since 2015, and that visual foundation is still present in every interface I build.
In 2021 I moved into UI design and established myself at a Senior level in UI, bringing UX work into the entire process — research, information architecture, flows, and usability testing — until I became comfortable working as a UX/UI Designer, with a product perspective that goes beyond the screen.
From Pragma, I've worked for clients such as Bancolombia, Banco Itaú, Redeban, and Grupo Mutual — most in banking and fintech — contributing to their digital products and design systems. Along the way I've practiced the different phases of the product process — discovery, design, and delivery — in real scenarios, learning that impact happens when business, user, and technical feasibility are balanced.
As a UX/UI Designer with a Senior level in UI and a product mindset, I turn complex problems into clear, functional, user-centered interfaces. I start with the problem — KPIs, the current state of the product, its relevance to business and users, and technical or budget constraints — before proposing solutions.
I design iteratively: from sketches and wireframes at medium to high fidelity, validating with research and usability testing, and involving the development team from the start to avoid technical surprises. I close with a clean, documented handoff — components with tokens and variables, and clear interactive prototypes.
I've worked across B2B, B2C, and B2B2C contexts, leaning on Design Systems, technical judgment (HTML/CSS), and AI tools — with prompt engineering — to create faster, higher-impact solutions. I adapt easily to teams or work independently, bringing judgment and results from day one.

A process that blends UX and interface design to build digital products that solve real problems — functional and enjoyable to use, grounded in a solid graphic design foundation and a complementary skill set.
Research, information architecture, flows, and usability testing to decide with evidence and reduce friction.
AI applied with judgment and prompt engineering to research, iterate, and move faster.
Components, tokens, variables, and documentation to scale products with consistency.
Clear, consistent interfaces with a high level of visual detail, at a Senior level.
Organization, libraries, variables, and clear interactive prototypes for a clean handoff.
Technical judgment to design viable, well-built interfaces, in dialogue with development.

If you have a product you want to improve or an idea that hasn't taken shape yet, I'd love to be part of the process. Reach out on LinkedIn or by email, and let's talk.
